The ERTG IT Text Messaging Service (the “Service”) is an optional communication channel provided by Elevate Respiratory Therapy Group (“ERTG,” “we,” “us”) to assist employees with technical support and troubleshooting.
Participation in this Service is entirely voluntary. Use of the Service is not a requirement of your job description or a condition of your employment with ERTG. Employees are not required to send or receive text messages to perform their core duties. Traditional support channels (email, phone, and internal portals) remain available for all technical needs.
By initiating a text message to the designated ERTG support number or responding to an invitation to use the Service, you provide express consent to receive automated and manual technical support messages on your mobile device. Message frequency varies based on the status and complexity of your specific IT request.
Message and data rates may apply. Because this Service is provided as an optional convenience and is not a mandate of your employment, ERTG does not provide reimbursement for personal mobile device costs or data plans associated with the Service, except where specifically required by state law.
ERTG values your privacy. The information collected through the Service is used exclusively for technical support resolution and internal record-keeping. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
ERTG is committed to maintaining the security of our systems and the privacy of our patients. To comply with HIPAA standards, employees are strictly prohibited from sending Protected Health Information (PHI) via this SMS Service. SMS is not a secure, encrypted channel for the transmission of patient data. Any technical issues involving patient records or specific health information must be handled through ERTG’s secure, encrypted internal platforms. Additionally, employees should avoid transmitting highly sensitive personal data (e.g., Social Security numbers) via SMS.
ERTG may use automated logic to route or prioritize your support requests. Transcripts of these communications are stored securely within our internal ticketing system. Employees have the right to request a manual review of any automated response by contacting a live technician.
